Christ is in our midst, everyone!
I thought of an idea just now. An Orthodox Christian, especially on the internet, will come across many arguments and many issues regarding their faith. Much of this comes from (In my experience at least) Protestants. Now, many of these claims can stump us at certain times. People well tell us that our ritualistic practices are "unbiblical" and they will accuse us of corrupting the true faith.
So I figured, why not strengthen each other in this manner? I propose creating a sub-board in Heterodox Relations in which everyone posts certain arguments, Biblical verses, as well as Early Church Father quotes so that we may have somewhere to go when encountered with these brash claims. We will have different threads for different topics. Topics can include Iconography, Mariology, Theosis, etc.
Anyone interested?

I agree.
However, from my experience, I can say that the arguments we use in such debates (if we enter debates) won't be effective against people who don't want to be convinced. If two rams enter a debate, each with his own ideas, this doesn't make it a dialogue, but a fruitless waste of time.
For the faithful, however, I guess it is a good idea, especially to strengthen their faith.
Green light.

This is definitely a really good idea! I would be more than happy to help with any thing; I've got a blog post I wrote defending apostolic succession and holy tradition that I put on Tumblr ages ago as apologetics against Protestant accusations for people to have.

I dig this idea and when I come across anything I'll be sure to post . . . Thanks Vlad!
