I am looking for ideas for a format to teach Aramaic online. I would like to have live video and shared documents similar to Google+ hangouts, but the problem is that Google+ hangouts will not allow me to add custom fonts, so all Aramaic appears a jarbled bunch of letters. Does anyone know of any online server side software that they would recommend?
Also, how would you suggest I approach teaching Aramaic? Should I follow standard curriculum, or just approach it as an open forum group learning adventure?

Just checking in to see if anyone has had an epiphany in this regard... The Nazarani (Syrio-Coptic) Bishop of Washington wants to get moving on this, and has pretty much handed the project over to me to complete.

Riley. Who is the Nazarani Bishop of Washington? Is he Canonical or a Vagante?
I am very Wary of these Vagante groups recently as I know they are very active on Social networks and claiming Canonical ordination and false histories, when they were not Ordained under the auspices of the any family of the Orthodox Church.
Though I would like to get back in Aramaic (I studied it and Syriac at Uni but only got a 2:2) I would check as to whether the Bishop who is helping organise this is Canonical before any involvement since these groups (though not Fatal in an Ecclesiastical sense) can be troublesome.
Update: After speaking to my local Bishop I have been advised that Orthodox Christians should not involved by any education Scheme by a Vagante, especially if they claim to be Canonical, so if this is the case I would have to back out.
