Many will tell us that some of our beliefs are non-Biblical. Although to a good degree, our beliefs are, there is still lots of room for one of the central aspects of Christ's One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church. This is the Holy Tradition of the Church.
So let this be a board dedicated to strengthening our knowledge of the Holy Tradition, why it is necessary, and why it matters.

It would be good for me to say more here, as this is the first reply... Maybe I'll come back later, as I have no time available yet (exam tomorrow)...

Good luck on your exam, Andrei!
Vlad, this is a great idea. I will be compiling some resources and making a larger post in time.
For Protestants who tell me that our faith is "not Christian" or "un-Biblical", I usually laugh and remind them that if an Christian from the first century walked into a Protestant church (of any denomination), they would probably have no idea that they were even in a Church, given how far other churches have deviated from tradition.
Though the Orthodoxy has made small adjustments (such as the part of liturgy when all catechumens are asked to depart- where once it actually meant for non-Christians to depart, but now is a reminder of the solemnity of the Eucharist) due to the growing acceptance of Christianity, we still maintain the traditions that were handed down to us by Christ and his apostles.
Holy Tradition is of utmost importance because it is the life of the Holy Spirit in the Church. It is what gives the Church its vitality. To depart from this Holy Tradition is to pervert the teachings of Christianity and apply them for your own benefit. This explains why Protestantism has branched off into thousands of different churches. I will make a more informative post on this subject later.

I've been told by heterodox before that they believe Holy Tradition to be unbiblical and one even told me that it gets in the way of my relationship with Christ. This same group also condemns people to hell who don't accept the prosperity heresy so I don't listen to them anyway.
Holy Tradition is so important and so enriching. There is an article that I put up on Tumblr ages ago. If you want I can re-post it here?

James, that is exactly what these boards are meant for This board is where we provide each other with resources (Bible passages, explanations, Early Church Father quotes, historical references, etc.).
