I have noticed that there is little to no site activity for a few weeks now. What has happened?
If anyone has anything they want to discuss this is the perfect medium. Take full advantage!!

I have also noticed that the activity on OOCA has dropped dramatically, and I wonder why...
I also wonder if the new Council is taking their attributions seriously.

We should just become an Oligarchy.

I'm pretty sure Andrei still holds the admin account, since he created the site.

Do these boards have the ability to host blogs per user? What about an actual domain?
I can't think of other ways to make it more interesting other than adding classes or video lectures... something to rope in other learners. Learners tend to contribute more fully and regularly.
What about contests? No real rewards, just the knowledge that you answered a question correctly before anyone else? Perhaps where you have to actually read a text to arrive at the answer?
I don't know, these are just things that would appeal to my bookworm nature!

Ok, then, please come with proposals for increasing activity here, on OOCA. Like I said on my blog(s), I already have an idea, but I'm also waiting for your ideas.

I'd host my blog also.
More than anything we just need more active users though, since lack of replies or genuine discussion seem to be an issue.

I'd host my blog also. More than anything we just need more active users though, since lack of replies or genuine discussion seem to be an issue. My blog is mainly posts from the saints, but if we could host here, I would host and just write a script to have it duplicated to Tumblr. Perhaps if we all did a concerted Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and Tumblr blitz to all of our friends that are known to be Orthodox, and promote it that way, we could get more sign ups. The Google and Facebook login option makes it very easy for them. Is anyone willing to compose a script for all of us to use in a unified manner?
