I just wanted to learn your opinion. Would you marry someone who is not an Orthodox Christian, or if he's baptized, he doesn't believe in God?

Ah, I wanted to post this after the Facebook conversation last night, thanks.
I would never marry someone who was not Orthodox. I do not think it would be fair to our family to divide our faith like that and I would not want to marry someone who could not commune with me.

I'm pretty sure my answer was defined yesterday during the conversation as well.
I think I would be pretty desperately in love and had a great opportunity to convert someone if I would marry a non-Orthodox Christian (They'd have to be Christian, at least).
As for non-Christian, I wouldn't nor am I able to.

Maybe I would marry someone who wants to convert to Orthodoxy.
But not someone of another confession or who doesn't belive in God.It would be hard for us both, lead to many conflicts, creating a wall between us instead of a profound relationship

I'm married to a non-Christian, though I was married long before I considered Orthodoxy. It doesn't cause us any problems, but I do hope it's allowed considering Orthodox aren't meant to marry non-Christians... It won't stop me from being able to convert, will it?

immerlein,
That shouldn't affect your ability to convert. Your marriage occurred when you were non-Orthodox, so you aren't expected to have followed all the rules that Orthodox must regarding whom to marry.

I don't think I could marry someone that doesn't believe in God. That may lead to many issues.
As Orthodox Christians, we cannot marry non-Christians, so that is out of the question too.
I would prefer to marry an Orthodox person, but I don't exactly come into contact with many Orthodox Christians in my age group, so that may not be very feasable... :-(

We have many converts in our parish who re married to non-Orthodox. If your partner also attends services the priest has a duty to advise or encourage they also convert but there is never pressure for them to do so.
The only time it can be a problem is if a guy who is married to a non-orthodox is intending to join the Diaconate in which case he cannot do so if he is married to a non-orthodox as married deacons need to be in sacramental marriage or remain completely unmarried.

I've decided that ideally, my spouse will be Orthodox Christian. Given that the Orthodoxy encompasses an entire way of life, I think that it's a faith that should be shared with the person who you are committing to spend your life with.
I've dated non-Christians since my interest in the Orthodoxy first peaked, but now, I'm set on eventually marrying an Orthodox woman.
