Hello!
Those who know, please explain which are the Orthodox jurisdictions in North America (especially in the USA), and which is their recognition status, because I am a little in fog here. See the form below, for a better understanding.
I mean, beside the jurisdiction of the national OCs, like the Romanian OC, Greek OC, Russian OC and so on, which have their own Metropolises or Archbishoprics there, I know that there also are some other Orthodox entities which are not recognised or are rejected by the OC pleroma, or maybe their statute is not clear to me, like the OCA or ROCOR, or the Holy Synod in Resistance.
So, please, what I'm interested in knowing is: 1. The name of the entity 2. The major OC the entity belongs to 3. The place of residence of the entity 4. The highest hierarch of the entity 5. Recognition status 6. Whom does the entity address to.
I'll give you an example, ok?
1. The Romanian Orthodox Archbishopric of the Two Americas 2. The Romanian Orthodox Church 3. Chicago, Illinois, USA 4. Archbishop Nicholas Condrea 5. Universally recognised by the pleroma of the Churches 6. The Romanian people in the Americas.
