Church under Islam/Moscow and Petersburg

I am now reading through the Moscow and Petersburg section in the Orthodox Church. During the Church under Islam section, I did not have questions or thoughts of importance or that I couldn't answer on my own. So, with that, if anybody has any articles, thoughts, and/or questions concerning any of these sections feel free to leave them here . . .

I do have one question: Is anybody on this forum now living in a predominatley non-Christian country that feels any sort of persecution or stress politically or socially?
